This privacy policy describes how HUD Homes Hub (the "Site") collects, uses, and shares information about visitors. We are an independent informational website and do not collect any personally identifying information from visitors except where you voluntarily provide it (for example, by sending us an email).
What we collect automatically
Like virtually every website on the public internet, our servers automatically log basic technical information about each request. This includes the requesting IP address, the URL requested, the HTTP referrer, the user-agent string, and the timestamp. We retain these server logs for a short rolling window for security and operations purposes — to detect abuse, debug crashes, and tune performance — and then delete them.
Cookies and advertising
HUD Homes Hub displays third-party advertisements through ad networks, including Google AdSense. Those networks may set their own cookies in your browser to measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and personalize ad selection. We do not control the cookies set by those networks and we do not have access to the personal data that they collect. Analytics
We use a privacy-respecting server-side analytics setup that aggregates page-view counts and referrer information. We do not run client-side analytics scripts that build cross-site profiles of visitors.
If you contact us by email, we receive whatever information you choose to send us, including your email address and the contents of your message. We use that information solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add inquiry email addresses to any marketing list.
Children
HUD Homes Hub is intended for adults navigating federal rental assistance programs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.
Your choices
